Description
All Data is stored in tables. To open a table and display its data in
the 'Record List' screen, click on the 'Open' bullet ()
to the left of the table name in the table list screen. The table list
screen is accessible by clicking on the 'Data Tables' link in the toolbar
on the left. The fields that are displayed in the Record List correspond
to the fields in the table whose 'Default Report' attribute is set to
'Yes'. To make sure that a field is displayed in the Record List, edit
the field and select 'Yes' for the 'Default Report' attribute.
Editing
Records
To edit a record in a table, first go to the 'Record List' screen as
described above, then click on the 'Edit' bullet ()
to the left of the record. This will display a data entry screen where
the values of the fields in the records can be changed. To create a
new record, click on the 'New' button at the bottom of the screen instead.
In the data entry screen, you may click the 'Save' button to permanently
update the data in the record, the 'Cancel' button to return without
saving the modifications, or 'Delete' to delete the current record.
Searching
The data in the table may be filtered and/or sorted by clicking on the
'Search' button in the Record List screen (see above). In the 'Search
Records' screen, you may specify search conditions and sort orders by
which to filter and sort the records in the table.
Exporting
and Printing
Data in a table can be exported and saved onto your local hard disk.
To export the data, open the table and go to the 'Record List' screen,
then click on the 'Export' button. A new window with the data in comma-delimited
format will be displayed. You may save the data by choosing 'Save' from
the 'File' menu in your browser. To export part of the table, you may
filter the records first by specifying search conditions (see above)
and then clicking on the 'Export' button. If you want to print the records
in the table instead of exporting them, click on the 'Print' button.
A new window with a printer-friendly formatting will be displayed. You
can print this window and then close it.
